I have been thinking of creating a "blog" for quite some time now, and here I am, writing my first blog! It is quite daunting now that I am here .... what do I write about, and why?
I dont expect anyone else to read this, I think it is just an avenue to help me "find" my creative side. Give me an avenue to look at my life as an outsider? Who knows where it will go, what it will evolve into, but that is the fun, the joy of the journey.
I have been searching the internet for sites that "talk" to me - a 46 year old stay at home mother, with relatively young children, A has just turned 11 and L is 61/2. I am completely devoted to my children (like most mothers), but as they get older, I am struggling with "who am I now", and what am I going to do with myself as they get more independent? I don't know what I want to be when I grow up (and shouldn't that be soon?).
Well ... that is enough of that! As well as "finding myself"(ewhh - how cliche!), I would also like to use this as a place to share my creativity (all be it very limited at this point in time). I am rediscovering sewing and design, and wishing very much that my skills could keep up with the imagination! I will have to get my camera out, and start taking piccies.
