My bread-making skills are getting better! I have just invested in proper bread baking tins and another recipe book - Wild Sourdough, which is full of beautiful recipes I can't wait to try. Over the weekend I baked ciabattas, which were fantastic and a sourdough sandwich loaf - which actually looks like a loaf of bread I would buy at my local bakery - I am SO chuffed with myself!

This loaf was beautifully high, light and fluffy and the girls loved it! Next challenge ..... hot cross buns!
I decided on Friday that storing my bread wrapped in a tea towel was just not good enough and that I should make little "bread bags" to store it in. So off to Spotlight to find fabric, which proved to be more difficult than I had imagined! I wanted a mid-weight "lineny" type of fabric, of which there seemed to be none! After about an hour wandering around aimlessly I decided on three pieces of fabric. This is the end result ....
Well got to go - ripe starter is calling my name ..... another sandwich loaf is on its way!

Aw man that loaf looks super yummy, I'm drooling on my keyboard! Love your bags too.
